Maine Light Productions is an effective communications company that was established in 1983 by Mary D. Mayo-Wescott, to produce quality television programming, TV production, media consulting, and public relations services. 

Mary has worked in the communications field for over 30 years and has an extensive media portfolio which includes television programming,TV production, educational video training tapes, a video documentary about women in transition, and numerous television commercials.  She is an effective communicator and working on public and governmental relations is a natural use of her expertise, creative talent and skill sets.

Mary Mayo-Wescott and "Maine View Business Magazine", the pro-business state wide cable television program that is making a difference for Maine's future, has a new look and a new format!   This successful pro-business tv show with respected television interviewer, Mary Mayo-Wescott, has begun a new journey with a focus on leadership and a more in-depth look at the issues and people that are shaping Maine's future!  Mary's special guest host, Dana Connors of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce began the new monthly TV magazine series with a compelling interview with Governor John E. Baldacci.   On the second edition of this dynamic new series Dana and his special guest panel will focus on transportation.  His guest are:  David Cole, commissioner of MDOT, Maria Fuentes, executive director of the Maine Better Transportation Association and Patricia Quinn,
executive director of the Northern New Passenger Rail Authority.

Mary returns on November 6, 2008, to anchor
 her show and interview Dr. Allyson Hughes Handley, the new president of the University of Maine at Augusta!


Mary will share her thoughts on the election and speak about the reason we have to be grateful this  Thanksgiving.

MVBM is broadcast at 8:30PM on Thursday evenings.  The shows are rebroadcast on Monday nights at 6:30PM each month from September 2008 through August of 2009!   On September 15, 2008, "Maine View Business Magazine" began airing on TWC's channel 22 in Portland!   Placing this highly acclaimed public affairs show in Maine's major metro markets from Bangor, Lewiston/Auburn, Augusta and Waterville!  MVBM has strong presence along Maine's coastline and in the heart land of our great state.  This new year long pro-business series can bee seen on demand  by Time Warner Cable viewers who have a digital Time Warner Cable box.
